HOW DOES THE MINIMALLY INVASIVE TECHNIQUES FOR SKIN TIGHTENING WORK?

Controlled subdermal tissue heating. During the Tightening Laser application, a tiny probe, under local anesthesia is used to gently heat specific tissue areas, with therapeutic temperature. After the application a gentle wrap is applied and you may return in your daily routine immediately.

We can treat, the legs, the knees, buttocks, the belly and very often combine it with liposuction for treating the area under the chin. It is minimally invasive with manageable downtime with only one treatment necessary

HOW THERMAGE WORKS?

Thermage uses radiofrequency energy to treat all three layers of the skin: the outer layer (epidermis), a collagen rich layer underneath (the dermis) and the innermost layer that contains additional collagen fibers (the subcutaneous). When your body stops producing collagen, layers of the skin break down due to age and exposure to elements, starting to dry out and create wrinkles. Treatment can stop and even reserve the collagen breakdown process by safely healing the skin immediately, tightening and encouraging new collagen growth over time. Most of the skin tightening systems only target on the surface and they do little to nothing to restore collagen.

This advanced technology devices cause contraction, tightening and lifting on the buttocks, arms, legs-knees and the belly with no downtime. The procedure is quick, requires only anesthetic cream or local anesthesia and is completed in less than an hour. You can return to your normal activities immediately after the treatment with no downtime.

WHAT TO EXPECT

In almost every case, the procedure requires only one session that takes from thirty minutes to one hour, depending on the treated areas. General anesthesia is not required, but you may need light medication for the pain, prior to the procedure. Tightening Laser treatment is generally performed under local anesthesia (tumescent), so there is no pain or discomfort during and after the procedure. Thermage or Tightening Laser treatment can be applied on tanned and dark-toned skin and will gradually reach the maximum result in four to six months.

All of our patients return to their regular activities right after the treatment. Almost immediately your skin will appear smoother and tighter. Over the next few weeks you should continue to see improved skin texture and more collagen is produced.
